In Rasayogasagara there are three Yogas explained in the Name of Kasthuri Bhairava rasa,

1)      Kasthuri Bhairava Rasa (Swalpa)

2)      Kasthuri Bhairava Rasa (Madhyama)

3)      Kasthuri Bhairava Rasa (Brihat)

 

In market Kasthuri Bhairava Rasa (Brihat) is available the most

 

 

As it will be easier to memorize , Kasthuri Bhairava Rasa (Swalpa) is explained here

*As Kasthuri is unavailable, Some practioners are taking Kankola(വാൽമുളക് ) ആസ് substitute.

*Some Manufacturers add Jathipushpa as substitute for Kasthuri

 

 

 

Method Of Preparation

All the ingredients except Kasthuri is taken and powdered separately, sieved through a cloth to make fine powder

A Clean Khalwa yantra is taken all the ingredients are added and bhanava is done with, boiled and cooled water, till it attains Samyak bhavitha Lakshana.

Pills of one Ratti(125 mg ) is rolled and dried in shade, which after porper drying will be taken and stored in air tight container.

Diabetes mellitus (Diabetes retinopathy, Diabetic foot ulcers )

कस्तूरी भैरव रस ( बृहन )

मृगमद शशि सूर्या धातकी शुक शिबी,

रजतः कनक मुक्ता विद्रुम लौहपाठे।

कृमिरिपुधनविश्वा वारितालाभ्रषात्री,

रविदलरसपिष्टं भैरवः कादिपूर्वः ॥ ५७९ ॥

कस्तूरीभैरयः ख्यातः सर्वज्वरविनाशनः ।

 

आद्रेकस्य रसः पेयो विषमज्वर शनः ॥५८०॥

द्वन्द्वजान्भौतिकान्वापि ज्वरान्कामादिसम्भवान्

अभिचारकृतांश्चैव तथा शत्रुकृतान् पुनः ।

निहन्याद्भक्षणादेव डाकिन्यादियुतांस्तथा ॥

बिल्व चूर्ण जीरकाभ्यां मधुना सह पानतः ।

आमातिसारं ग्रहणी ज्वरातीसारमेव च५८३॥

अध्रिदीप्तिकरः शान्तः कासरोगनिकृन्तनः।

क्षपयेद्भक्षणादेव मेहरोगं हलीमकम् ।।५८४॥

जीर्णज्वरं नूतनं वा द्विकालीनञ्च सन्ततम् ।

आक्षेप भौतिक वापि हन्ति सर्वान्विशेषतः ॥

ऐकाहिकं द्वचाहिकं वा व्याहिकें चातुराहिकम ।

पाञ्चाहिक वा पाष्ठाहं पाक्षिकं मासकं पुनः ॥

सर्वावरानिहन्त्याशु भक्षणादाकद्रवैः ५८६
